What I Can Do I Must Do!

Educating May Cost,
But So Does Ignorance..!

  • Every second child in India below 5 years is malnourished
  • 50% of India’s children between 6 & 14 years don’t go to primary school,  despite it being their constitutional right
  • India is home to the largest number of working children in the world - 11.2 million
  • 1 in 4 girls in India are married between the age of 15 to 19 years

We, The Volunteers At Cry (West) Strive To Ensure That No Child Is Deprived Of The Following Fundamental Rights;

  • Right to Survival: child’s right to survive with adequate nutrition, quality health care & a wholesome family life
  • Right to Development: child’s right to develop through quality education, recreation & a supportive environment
  • Right to Protection: child’s right to be nurtured & protected from harmful influences, abuse & exploitation
  • Right to Participation: child’s right to freedom of thought, religion & expression without social & gender discrimination

So, Here We Are, Welcoming All Kinds Of Diverse Mindsets, To Cry To Volunteer To Do This Motivating, Satisfying And Yet Challenging Task Of Taking A Step Forward In Bringing About A Positive Longlasting Change.

Every Individual is a resource of time, skill and goodwill.
